Welcoming the Honda Classic 2014

On Monday, February 24th 2014, the official kickoff to the Honda Classic began. The world’s best PGA Tour golf players participate in a week long tournament, providing champion entertainment with legendary PGA league professionals.  Phil Mickelson, Rory Mcllroy and the Worlds #1 Ranked player in the World- Tiger Woods- will make this year’s Honda Classic another star-studded event.  Last year the PGA TOUR event had a record breaking 160,000+ fans that enjoyed the world-class golf and glorious Florida weather.  Along with bringing together the world’s best golf players, the Honda Classic is also known for its generous participation and support of South Florida charities through the Children’s Healthcare Charity, Inc –over $2 Million in donations were raised at last years Honda Classic.

Children's Healthcare Charity

The mission of Children’s Healthcare Charity is to contribute funds to South Florida 501(c)3 organizations. Through beneficiary Nicklaus Children’s Health Care Foundation, CHC supports activities that advance and enhance the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of childhood diseases and disorders. We also support not-for-profit programs and projects aimed at pediatric health care and health-related services.
