Linda Lipshutz M.S., LCSW, ACSW

Linda Lipshutz holds degrees from Cornell and Columbia in New York and went for specialized training at the Ackerman Institute for Marital and Family Therapy in Manhattan. She also has had additional training through Mentorcoach, a program especially designed for experienced mental health professionals to transition their therapeutic skills to a coaching model. Since the 1980’s, she has served as a consultant to the human resource departments of major corporations and advised managers and employees on a multitude of workplace and personal needs. Her private practice was
located in New York for over thirty years, and now practices full time in Palm Beach Gardens.

Her practice specialties include the treatment of Individual, Marriage and Family Therapy, Divorce, Infidelity, Remarriage and Blended Families.

Consequently, we often cave in to the expectations of others, and do not pay sufficient attention to what is truly important to us.


Dr. Cynthia Balfour Todd PhD, LMHC, LSP, NCSP, NCC

Dr. Todd has been in private practice in Jupiter, Florida since 1999. She holds advanced degrees in three fields: clinical psychology, special education and counseling. She is also a Supreme Court Certified Family Mediator. She has over thirty years of experience working with children in varied settings and with various school systems.

As a Divorce Coach, Dr. Todd helps a couple to focus on improving communication around parenting concerns, and to improve the emotional climate within the family. During the divorce negotiating, Dr. Todd serves as a medium by which the couple can express their expectations and needs. Dr. Todd’s services as divorce coach helps to provide needed support during the transition from one to two households, thus helping to provide the best chance of minimizing any long-term negative effects from the separation or divorce.

Dr. Todd is a member of the National Association of School Psychologists, the American Counseling Association, American Mental Health Counselors Association and the American Association of Christian Counselors. She has been recognized in Who’s Who in the South and Southwest, Who’s Who Among Human Resource Personnel and Who’s Who in Emerging Women Leaders . She has been awarded three mini-grants by The Washington Post for programs assisting children. She has been a noted speaker at local and state conferences.


Lisheyna Hurwitz M.A. Ed.

As a licensed psychotherapist, Lisheyna Hurwitz practices in Boca Raton, FL., specializing in Relationships (marriage, family, couples) Mid-Life and Personal Crisis, Divorce Problems and Mediation as well as Single Parent Problems.

As a divorce specialist, Lisheyna addresses the emotional trauma of divorce prior to litigation, easing the way for a more productive legal process. Lisheyna offers an important and specific form of counseling whose mission is to assist parents in resolving their conflicts regarding child rearing through successful co-parenting.

Lisheyna has appeared on television and hosted a call-in radio show. As the co-chair of the Marriage, Family and Divorce Network for The Advocate, an international counseling journal, she wrote and published many articles on divorce.

In 2002 she took the National Parent Coordinators training. Lisheyna was involved in the creation of the original EST center in Philadelphia and was responsible for bringing the Landmark Forum to Sarasota, Florida. She founded the children’s charity Successful Singles of Sarasota Making a Difference.
